Approach

My coaching approach is informed by research and shaped by real-world observations of how people develop. We will start where you are, develop your skills in self-research, and test out strategies that support your unique profile and build a foundation that will help you thrive.

My coaching approach is guided by 6 key principles:

  • Connection Comes First

Together, we build a trusting relationship grounded in empathy, curiosity, and mutual respect. I meet you where you are and walk beside you.

  • Collaborative, Strengths-Based Work

Together, we identify what’s already working and use those strengths as a foundation for growth. We also address areas of challenge with compassion and creativity.

  • Personalized, Brain-Aware Strategies

There’s no one-size-fits-all solution. Using insights from your own experiences and awareness and information from developmental science and neurodiversity research, we will work to tailor strategies to your unique executive function profile, needs, and goals.

  • Context Matters

Strategies are best used in the real contexts of your life — school, home, work. Bring your tasks to our sessions so we can tackle them in a way that makes sense for who you are, how your brain works, and what is being asked of you.

  • Celebrate ALL Wins!

    Celebrate All Progress

Progress is rarely linear — but it’s always worth noticing. We take time to recognize growth — no matter how small — and build insights from and confidence through each gain.

  • Learn from All Challenges

Challenges and lack of progress are also rich with important information and learning opportunities! We will identify and learn from those moments, too!

Whether we’re working on time management, task initiation, or planning and prioritizing, we’re doing it in a way that acknowledges your individuality, builds self-awareness, and leads to lasting change.
